There is no legal way. There are tools to convert such maps into free 
formats, but all public references get threatened by lawyers. Thus you 
might ask in public forums, you will get stupid public answers and maybe 
one of the tool authors has mercy and will contact you privately.

Did you notice the "Ref laden" and "Ref speichern" buttons in QLGT? Save 
reference points to get a *gcp file. That will give you a clue how to 
create your own one.

Another approach I prefer is to use gdal on the console. With a little 
bit of python scripting you can automate the whole conversion process. 
Not sure if GDAL can read png on windows. Have a look into QLGT about 
dialog to find out. If it can you can use gdalwarp to convert the png 
and worldfiles into something sane like geotiff.
