hard to tell the root cause. I would expect some mess with the libs. Compiling
QLGT against one version
but running with another version, due to depenency mixup.
Probably you solve it by compiling yourself, and if not you can use a debugger
to find the codeline that is
hanging.
I would make sure, that it is not a bad setting, by moving QLandkarteGT.conf
out of the way. And if not I
would tell the package maintainer.
