Hi hike39,

that thing with TDB, basemap and tiles was a constant source of problems
for users, as they did not understand the weird concept of a Garmin map.
As all Garmin devices, except the Methuselah from the very first series,
are able to handle several *img files, users tend to download a map as a
single img file to copy and use on their device. And with QMapShack you
use the very same file. No need to download the map a second time. No
need to find out the basemap, as there is none.
