with "able to handle several *img files" you mean that you can store multiple img files on the GPS device (instead of only one gmapsupp.img)? Devices not able to do so are not supported?
Then my gpsmap 60csx is a methusalem :-( Bad luck, I was curious to check QMS when I have the time. Using QLGT since I own the GPS.
The QMS wiki says "All newer Garmin devices accessible with mass strorage mode will work.". I think that is true for the gpsmap 60csx, so that is a different requirement, isn't it?

Hi hike39,
that thing with TDB, basemap and tiles was a constant source of problems
for users, as they did not understand the weird concept of a Garmin map.
As all Garmin devices, except the Methuselah from the very first series,
are able to handle several *img files, users tend to download a map as a
single img file to copy and use on their device. And with QMapShack you
use the very same file. No need to download the map a second time. No
need to find out the basemap, as there is none.
