I have a similar (or the same) issue with QMS 1.0.0 under Debian Jessie amd64. I take a track with timestamps and elevation data. I cut it in two parts, create a new track and the combine part 1 of the splitted track, the new track and part 2 of the splitted track. Edit the combined track makes QMS loop indefinitely. No debug messages while looping.
