That seems like a bug.   QMS should not try to unmount a device that it didn't mount.    In my opinion, QMS should not automatically mount anything either, that should be left up to the user and the OS.

Imho there should be no warning on the desktop manager side either. But that is

When I start up qmapshack it tries to unmount my external USB connected
hard drive.   A window pops up and I have to say no every time.
