Hi,

do not mix up the different clipboards in Linux. There is one clipboard that is 
part if the X Server (or whatever). This is the one where you mark text and it 
is copied automatically. This is the text you can paste with a mouse click.

The other one is the more Windows like one. You mark text and with ctrl+C you 
copy the text and with ctrl+V you paste. And that is what QMS is using. To 
paste the coordinate you have to use ctrl+V.
