Hi no there is nothing like this. The only tools that stitch maps together are "Add Color Palette" and "Export Maps". Both probably don't do what you want.
To combine maps they need to have same projection and same color model. If they have you can collect them in a *.vrt file. And that is what you load in QMS. If you really want to have a single file you have to use gdal_transform to convert the *.vrt file into something else, e.g. GeoTiff. Usually you want to have files with RGBA color while you georeference them. This because the interpolation filters used while transforming the maps will add new colors. And mapping this colors to a color table will make lines edgy. However once referenced you normally prefer map files with a 8 bit color table as these files are significantly smaller than the full blown RGBA. That is what "Add Color Palette" does. It calculates an optimized color table and dithers the maps according to that table. This will reduce the quality a bit but not as much as it would have suffered using a color table right from the start. And as the complete batch of files will have the same color table there is a selection to stitch all files together. This makes sense because maps of a region often overlap quite much and the resulting file will be much smaller than all single files combined. Sure, space is not much of an issue today. But if you want to exchange these files bandwidth is an issue and you appreciate small files. Long story short: * Use gdal_translate on the command line to convert several files combined by a *.virt file into a single file. * Use QMapTool if you want to convert you files into 8bit color table and a combined file.
