Hi,
It works very good on Solaris as long as you don't try to enable
replication with 1.2.x. Then, it crashes every few days or so. This got
my boss aggravated, so I didn't even try to use OpenLDAP 2.x. I am now
using iPlanet Directory server, which btw comes with Solaris 8 Sparc
(free license for up to 200,000 entries). With this type of free
license, I can't see a reason not to use it. It has never crashed and
has quite alot of features that OpenLDAP doesn't. However, it is also
missing a few...
