Oh yes, forgot this.�fear cvs for the patches doesn't make too much sense ;-))
I'm not to sure about Bernsteins policy here, he sometimes tells something
like "you should not distribute patches, but modified qmail-whatever.c" -
but didn't find this on his pages. Did you ever asked him for a permission
to distribute qmail-ldap as standalone source instead of patch?
I still think a seperate hackers list would make sense. I think discussing
new features for the next version there would make sense too, as
distributing "beta"-patches or so - this could prevent some errors in the
"official" released patch.
There could also interoperability issues with the various add-on patches be
discussed.
