To let the others participate: we found the bug. There is one variable used
uninitialized. As long as uninitialized variables are 0 everything is OK. On
Matthias system they had 2^16 for some reason - duh. I'll tweak
makefiles/conf-cc to compile with a more -Wanything....
a corrected patch is available as qmail-lspawn.c.patch-20010306 at the usual
location.
