just to let everybody know there's a little fault in the smtp_auth patch on
the www.lifewithqmail.org/ldap site:
in the Makefile, auth_smtp is using checkpassword.c, where it should be
using checkpassword_smtp
And of course, checkpassword_smtp must also be defined in the Makefile
(analog to checkpassword). Also some minor differences in checkpassword.c
and checkpassword_smtp.c, especially when it comes to emtpy passwords, but
these are non-critical.
And somewhere in the readme file, it shoud say to "chmod a+rx
/var/qmail/bin/auth_smtp", otherwise it doesn't work, and this after you
make sure that the memory softlimit for smtp is big enough when starting it.
I don't know who the maintainer of this patch is (Henning?) but if he wants
the updated sources, let him mail me privately.
