I'm running qmail-ldap with about 150,000 accounts now (and rising) using two
ldapservers for loadbalancing (more will be needed), 2 popservers (again,
more are planned), 4 smtp servers (not that many needed now but good for load
balancing and seperation of emails coming from the internet or from own
clients). Smtp is quite heavily used: about 700,000 mails a day, average size
being 60K.
