dear everyone,
I have the following set up:
qmail 1-03, openldap 1.2.11, ldap patch 20010501
and courier-imap 1.3.8.1 .
I'm using auth_imap as the authentication module
for courier-imap. When I start an imap
session and when i get the password wrong, the
whole session disconnects immediately. Is this how
it is supposed to behave for wrong password?? But
everything works normally when password is correct.
I'm just worrying something is crashing abnormally
behind when the password is wrong.
This is my ldap entry:
[EMAIL PROTECTED],o=mydomain.com,dc=Qmail
objectclass=gumsuser [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] userpassword={SHA}fCIvspJ9goryL1khNOiTJIBjfA0= mailhost=qmsvucm.mydomain.com mailquota=50000000S,5000000C mailmessagestore=/home/mailusers/md1/mydomain/mdTW1/018/ cn=018 qmaildotmode=ldaponly How i configure courier-IMAP to use
auth_imap? I just modifed /usr/lib/courier-imap/etc/imapd and
set AUTHMODULES="auth_imap" . That's
all.
