GNU Patch utility for Solaris 7 not found

Hi,   I'm trying to apply the qmail-ldap patch in Solaris 7.   The documentation at www.nrg4u.com says that i should download the GNU patch utility at www.sunfreeware.com .   However, I could not find the patch utility for Solaris 7.   So, could i use the patch utility for Solaris 8 in my Solaris 7?   regards, roland
