Your problem is that if you use only mailMessageStore.
your qmail-pop3d tries to read /export/home/heman/Maildir/Maildir which is
wrong.
The last argument of qmail-popup and aliasempty of qmail-start (see
~qmail/rc) need to be equal. In your case I guess "./"
So try to start the pop3 server with:
pop3 stream tcp nowait root /var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup qmail-popup \
heman.com /var/qmail/bin/auth_pop /var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d ./
As you already posted you can also use homeDirectory togehter with
mailMessageStore. In this case aliasempty (or the last element of
qmail-pop3d) will be replaced with mailMessageStore.
