Hi,

on my system which does about 200.000 deliveries and about 800.000
pop3-polls / day, qmail-smtpd eats up lots of cpu power and causes
serious system load.

My control/rcpthosts and control/locals files are 1MB big each and
contain about 60.000 entrys each. Is it possible that the load
qmail-smtpd causes comes from parsing those files ? If so: is there a
way to avoid this ?

Also: Ist there a way to use wildcards in rcpthosts and locals ? We are
currently making one entry per subdomain it would be a lot better if
we'd simply have to list every domain only.

best regards,

Jochen
