I'm in the same situation, I have openldap 2.0.14 and another thing that
happen is when I write lot of changes in the master the replica stop
respond for a while.
If I make some mistake and do a ldapsearch using a non indexed key
search the server crash.
I'have done a little testing on the 2.0.22 and lot of this problem seems
to be fixed.
I'm planning the upgrade.
