Thanks Greg, maybe I am just confusing things right now... been fighting with one problem after another.... today and no longer know which end is up. I had my problem fixed with AUTH_SMTP only after I found that my permissions were set wrong and now, I have broken AUTH_POP... this is driving me nuts... Can anyone tell me what the permissions in the control directory should be and for auth_pop, auth_imap and auth_smtp. Thanks again all. Everyone has been a great help... Paul.
