It is with a sad
heart that I must bid qmail farewell. I really like qmail and it has been
good to us, but It's complete inability to do Delivery status notification is a
critical shortcoming. However flawed it is, the Feds require all financial
institutions to use DSN and we do not wish to loose those customers.
Unfortunately, even if the message passes through a qmail server, the info is
dropped and it does not get passed on to the next server, so qmail anywhere in
our cluster could cause problems.
We have looked
EVERYWHERE - to my knowledge there is not a DSN patch for qmail. If anyone
knows differently, please tell me!
