I certainly agree that dsn is lame, unfortunately, many things that the government does are ass-backwards..... but, No one I know is able to change the laws regarding Electronic Banking Standards and therefore, I must comply with their wishes if I would like to keep any of the banks in the US as a customer.
I also know that it was purposely left out and that it is a major pain to code for. I'm sure that is one reason that there are no patches.
