I believe that the OpenLDAP list would be a great forum to discuss this problem. In the event that you want a rock-solid LDAP server, I recommend switching to iPlanet/Sun ONE. The license is free for up to 200k entries if you run it on sparc hardware and only replicate to sparc hardware. -- Mike
