Actually, the migration from Open LDAP to Iplanet is rather simple. The best thing to do is to export the entries in your current LDAP server into an LDIF file.
Install Iplanet and add the schema. Again fairly easy. I am sure all of us can follow the directions on the screen. Import your entries. Done. Takes the average user with no previous installation skills for Iplanet about an hour.
