Hi All, I've recently upgraded from qmail-ldap-20011101 to qmail-ldap-20021101. At the same time I installed a new server. (So I can't be sure where the problem lies)
My LDAP server (openldap) is running on my qmail server. My server has about 60 POP clients, and processes about 2000 emails per day. Twice in the past week, I've had a user send an email to another user, using the correct email address, and the server has responded that no such mailbox was available. When the user resends, the email goes through 100% I've also had some complaints that when the users pop their mail, they are occasionally asked for their passwords. (i.e. the password is denied the first time) My guess is that my LDAP server can't keep up with qmail's queries? (When auth_pop / qmail-send checks account details) Any thoughts on this?
