I am doing tests for a switch from sendmail to qmail-ldap and I have
noticed
the same problem. My LDAP server is running on Netware 6. When doing
high number
(about 3 per sec) of searches with different LDAPware software and
qmail-ldap
searching for mail addresses and users/passwords I have noticed that
there where
times when nothing was returned, even the search was not modified at
all.
I know qmail-ldap has nothing to do with it, but I was wondering if
qmail-ldap
could have the ability to retry the searches when an IMAP or POP
authentication is
performed and queue the message and retry for a number or period of time
the
delivery if nothing is found on the LDAP server.
