Hello all,
Let me quote qmail-ldap news:
" checkpassword now supports the password format used by Netscape
Mailserver pre-3.0 and Software.com's Post.Office (NS-MTA-MD5).
That string is hex encoded, the first 32 Octets are the MD5 hashed
password and the second 32 Octets are the salt to the MD5 function. "
checkpassword supports NS-MTA-MD5 encoding, but this means I have to use
checkpassword in pop3d call instead of auth_pop for qmail-ldap???
If qmail-ldap using auth_pop supports Post.Office passwords what should I do to migrate
the post.office acounts? I exported using the scripts available at post.office package
and tried to authenticate using qmail and it has failed.
Anyone managed to import post.office accounts could give me some directions?
Thanks for your attention.
Flavio.
