Documentation, no. But I used the authdaemond.ldap module for sqwebmail and it was pretty straight forward. All I had to do was fiddle the bind DN and password settings. Of course, I'm not running using the qmail-ldap cluster and you can't really, unless you have all the mailstores mounted using NFS or similar on the webmail boxes (if you were to do that, why would you be clustering?).
Actually, I'm sharing an authdaemond instance between sqwebmail and courier-imap. I wasn't able to get the authdaemon to daemonise while it was run by fghack, but I don't care that much about it as most of the user are POP3 types and nobody much notices when authdaemon dies every couple of weeks.
