what do u have in the .qmail file of that list ?

I have added the mailAlternateAddress & it didn't help. I did not change the
catchall address so I used that.
I also created a alias mailaddress for some of my users -
[EMAIL PROTECTED] That worked fine. I tried copying the list .qmail
files to /var/qmail/alias & that didn't help. It refuses to send mail to the
list user unless there is a Maildir structure in the users mail directory.
Ideas anyone?

you also need to have a catcahll address for the mailing list i.e.
mailalternateaddress : [EMAIL PROTECTED] (the catchall is
whatever you set in qmail before compilation, if you haven't done that
then it is catchall)

I'm using virtual users & the mail directory structure is owned by vmail.
The ezmlm binaries are all 755.
When I add a homeDirectory attribute set to the same thing as the
mailMessageStore I get a "Unable to open /var/qmail/maildirs/pdusers is a
directory? message from qmail?

Make sure that the qmail user has access to the directory of the ezmlm,
I have the mailmessagestore and homedirectory the same which points to
the path of the list (with no maildir)

I compiled qmail-ldap with the dash extension & my changing qmailDotMode

to

both allows me to forward my e-mail.
I changed the list address as well to "both" but I still get the "Unable

to

chdir to maildir". If I add a Maildir to the user directory it will

deliver

the mail.
Here's the LDAP entry for the list -

qmailDotMode both
mailMessageStore /var/qmail/maildirs/pdusers
sn PdUsers
mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
uid pdusers
objectClass top
objectClass person
objectClass inetOrgPerson
objectClass qmailUser
accountStatus nopop
mailHost localhost
cn [EMAIL PROTECTED]
cn PdUsers

Is there a way to dertermine that that dash extention is compiled in? I

saw

it flash by when compiling.
Thanks for your help

You must have e-mail compiled with das extension and in the ldap entry
of that ezmlm account set qmaildotmode to both

Hi
I'm trying to get ezmlm-idx working with qmail-ldap. Ezmlm insists on

having

Maildir file in the directory for my test list or it won't deliver mail.
It's not seeing the .qmail-xxx files.
I did a test & change my .qmail file to send the mail to another e-mail
account. That did not work the mail was deliver to the account on the

local

server.
Any ideas what's going on?
TIA
