the error message is -
deferral: Unable to change to maildir (#4.2.1).
The directory 'Maildir' isn't there. If I add it it will deliver to the
'new' directory as usual bypassing the .qmail files.

I have a different  setup with a bunch of  .qmail files, I had your
problem when I was installing it for the first time but I can't remember.
Can you please send me the exact log when trying to deliver message.
