I recently installed qmail-ldap and I hope what I write here is correct, if
it is not I kindly invite suggestions.

In my view, if you followed the instructions in lifewithqmail-ldap, then you
have ended up with one virtual domain, user data directories managed by a
system user 'vmail'. You may add more virtual domains by specifying the new
virtual domain (in a new line) in "control/rcpthosts" and interesting enough
in "control/locals" and you don't need an entry in "control/virtualdomains"
this is unlike the convention used in the standard Qmail installation
(without the qmail-ldap) patch in which for virtual domains we add an entry
in "control/rcpthosts" and "control/virtualdomains".
Finally don't forget to add an MX record in your DNS server with the entry
of your new virtual domain.

Try it and see.
