No you don't need to modify any courier-imap's config files as part of "virtual" domain(s) configuration. But you may need to add a line consisting of your virtual domain(s) (one line per virtual domain) to your "qmail/control/locals" and "qmail/control/rcpthosts" files. After you've done this you may test by adding a new user into LDAP with "mail" attribute consisting of the new virtual domain e.g (mail: mail:[EMAIL PROTECTED]") and for mail host (mailHost:virtual2.arril.net) and for uid (uid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]) also note the "dn" entry need to be unique through out your LDAP server(s). If you intend to have multiple virtual domains, I find it wise to have user's "uid" having the same value as their corresponding "mail" entries. This is necessary in case you have someone with the same user name belong to another virtual domain using the same LDAP server, so that they can all have unique "uid" values. Finally you may test connectivity to courier imap by using telnet to port 143, then supply the new user's "uid" value and password.
