Hi To all I would like to install Qmail, but I would like my users to be authenticated on a Windows 2000 Server. For this purpose I suppose I must use LDAP on Qmail. So Far so good. However I've read the documentation about Qmail-LDAP, I've searched the Web, and I'ven't found what I was looking for. (I've already read some messages posted but the answer I saw did not elucidated me -- sorry !) The document Life with Qmail Ldap, talks about the configuration on a OpenLdap Server, so my question is: Must I install OpenLdap on the Qmail machine and replicate the data of the AD to this machine ? Or, what I would really like, can my users authenticate directly on the windows machine, without the needing of replication data from one server to another. If this is possible what are all the required software to do it. If you can point me out some directions some links, I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks. Kindly Bruno Sousa |
