First, I am running qmail with qmail-scanner ( 1.20 ) + clamAV ( .65 )
+ spamassassin ( 2.61 ).
I noticed when a large message comes in, spamassassin fails to return
a result. I get the ??/?? stuff in the header. After some research, I
found that spamassassin has a limit to the size of the message it will
scan ( 250k in this case, by default ). While I could up that limit,
I was wondering if anybody has modified qmail-scanner to strip the
attachments off an email before passing it to spamassassin.
Further, if no one has done this, are there any reasons why this
shouldn't be done?
