I've been getting a quite a few of remote smtpd ( remote ) connects that
retry and retry over again. I'm not sure what to make of it.

This is how I start qmail-smtpd:

/usr/local/bin/tcpserver -v -x/etc/tcp.smtp.cdb -u1002 -g101 0 smtp
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd 2>&1 | /var/qmail/bin/splogger smtpd 3 &

This is what I'm getting in my logs:

[... over and over again ( The names and nos. have been changed to protect
the inocent ) ]

At first I thought it was some kind of SPAM relaying but now I'm not sure.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

Thanks.
