Check your DNS settings. This is usually the cause.

Trying this again...
Any ideas why sending mail would take an unusual amount of time? POP
reacts quick when receiving mail, but smpt seems extremely slow.
Running Redhat 5.1, Pentium 166 w/ 64 megs of ram, and it's slow
even on a lan.
