except it is the opposite of what I am looking
for (Sorry if I was not very clear with my question).

I want a mechanism to say [EMAIL PROTECTED]
(I dont want people to memorize pager numbers. It is easier to remember 
[EMAIL PROTECTED] "pager"
is a fictitious/pseudo host).

So I am looking for a .qmail file that would 
contain the  &[EMAIL PROTECTED] entry).

Yes, you set up a virtual domain (with MX record) for the host . See
qmail FAQ.

I'm not sure I understand. If you want to forward the message, put
"&[EMAIL PROTECTED]" into ~/.qmail-888999222 (where "~" is the
owner of the virtual domain).
