Mail Parsing

Hi all,   I would like to know if there is any mail parsing (MIME) library in C which i can use to parse the mails and extract the <from> address , attachments , body etc from a mail body .   if not please tell me how to handle this in Java There are mail api s in Java to handle this but the question is how to ?   Please Help   Thanks in advance Mathew
