if i set *client* correctly??

that's the thing i dont want to deal with users wasting my time by
explaining how to set up their e-mail clients! everything should work with
default settings.

define "properly configured client"? is there some syntax that i should use
or something?

i'm going try courier imapd now..
w/ --enable-workarounds-for-imap-client-bugs
let's see how is that goin help me..
