It resolves to an IP:
 [root@ns2 log]# ping bogus.mtco.net
PING bogus.mtco.net (24.17.22.210): 56 octets data

An IP that is not going to respond.... To simulate a primary MX going
down. Which is the point of a backup MX server. If the primary were
responding and running smpt it wouldn't matter :)
