Could be anything. I think it would help if you told us how you compiled qmailadmin, what system you're running it on, and what supporting programs you're using, as well as how they're compiled.
You're dealing with an extremely complex system. If any of the supporting programs are broken, it'll affect qmailadmin. Then again, I haven't been able to get answers for my questions either. I'm starting to think that this list just isn't used much.
