Thanks very much for the quick reply... I am going to try upgrading, I
believe. The wife and I are pretty poor and I have a number of people
willing to pay me to host their sites - every little bit helps. I'm going
to try and upgrade the whole shebang....

Good idea to upgrade. Vpopmail 5.4 includes lots of security and bug
fixes over 5.2.1, QmailAdmin 1.2 has vast improvements on 1.0.6.
The solution to your problem is to configure qmailadming with
--disable-ipauth option. This should work with 1.0.6 until you get
around to updating your system.
