[qmailadmin] How to check qmailadmin is correcty installed?

Hello
I have installed qmail admin following the instructions given, but I cannot access the site.

Can I use the IP number instead of the server name in order to access qmailadmin?
Do I need to update httpd.conf on apache to be able to see qmailadmin (I assume the answer is not)?
