hi eric

please let me know step by step how u did it.i need little guidence atleast a mini-howto.waiting for ur reply.

first install a fresh new qmailtoaster server & create the virtual domains & user's with the same user id's & domain names as in the old email server.then go for individual email farwarding option of every email id & farward it to the newly created domain.

if i do this will only new mail's get forwarded to my new mail server or the prevoius old mails which r already there in Exim get forwarded.Please throw some light on this whole thing.

Thanx & Regards

I was also using a CPanel solution before moving to qmail toaster.
What we did in a nutshell was made a fake domain, such as
newmail.yourdomain.com, and then made new accounts for everyone on the
new qmail server. This server had the same domain set up on it,
mail.yourdomain.com but also had the fake one as a virtual/alias. You
then gradually move everyone to it by putting forwarders in cpanel so
that all addresses are removed and replaced with forwarders
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]

When everyone is moved, updated DNS and let the changes propogate on the net.

I hope this helps.
