FC4 support is getting a bit scary, especially now that Fedora has
moved this OS has moved to Fedora Legacy. Not sure if it's worth
investing the time to fix this or work on support for the upcoming
FC6.

Just for posterity, I exported LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/courier-authlib and
it worked.

I don't know for sure what the problem is. The server might be 'broken' in
some way that I can't find, or there might be a problem with libtool that
isn't fully fixed on FC4. I find it peculiar that the standard libtool-libs
works with courier-authlib-toaster on CentOS, but libtool-ltdl on FC4
conflicts. libtool-ltdl is apparently customized and bundled with
courier-authlib-toaster on FC4. Why I don't know.
