Or He just can set the script to use the remote server... Did you know phpmailer? It's a good tool!

I'm not sure why you want to do this, or what exactly your setup is. You can
route outgoing email using the /var/qmail/control/smtproutes file and send
it wherever you'd like. You can route by IP or domain name, and include a
username and password if necessary. See
