That is correct. The latest qtp-newmodel (which is contained in
qmailtoaster-plus) does not remove spamassassin-toaster before upgrading.
This removal is still needed if upgrading to
spamassassin-toaster-3.2.4-1.3.13, but is no longer necessary beginning with
spamassassin-toaster-3.2.4-1.3.16 (which is not posted on the main site yet).

I believe you need to give it the entire filename of the rpm file (at least
I always do). Also, if you already have a newer version installed, you can
safely remove the newer version first (rpm -e qmailtoaster-plus).

No, that will be fixed by running the qtp-newmodel script. It's the newmodel
script that upgrades all of the base toaster packages, including clamav-toaster.

Once your qmailtoaster-plus package is installed, then run qtp-newmodel.
Then your toaster packages will be updated and clamav will cease eating your
cpu.
