Hi folks, I have not changed anything in such a long period of time with the exception of updates to the server via QMT or normal linux updates. Memory limits are the same as they have always been. I have read many many entries on the web and found no absolute fix. There were many guesses and informed responses but none that seemed to work for any who have this issue. I have the offending computer coming to my offices to see if it is localised to his system as noone else is getting this error.
best wishes Tony White Yea Computing Services http://www.ycs.com.au 4 The Crescent Yea Victoria Australia 3717 Telephone No's VIC : 03 9008 5614 FAX : 03 9008 5610 (FAX2Email) IMPORTANT NOTICE This communication including any file attachments is intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom it is addressed. He does know how big they 2.1MB are in total but it is only this client getting the error. My limit on attachments is 8MB per email so this should not be the issue. I have looked at the logs for the dates an no issues are in them for the client. Does anyone have any ideas please?Do you see him submitting (and retrieving I suppose) email otherwise? Which port is he trying to submit to? Do you have any eMPF policies? Which client is the client submitting with? Have you checked the clamav log? Soft rejects are sometimes indicative of a scan/queue problems. What is the file type/extension? Is it one that simscan is blocking? So many questions. ;)
