Thanks for tracking this down, Tony. I'm a little surprised we're not
seeing more instances of it here, given the clamor on the ubuntu and
clamav bug trackers.
Given that David Raynor (I presume he knows what's up with clamav
releases) said "the complete 0.97.6 update including this patch is
coming very soon" on 8/14 (one week ago), I think it's best at this
point to just wait for that release, and I'll get a clamav-toaster
package with it built as soon as it's available. If someone notices this
is available before I do, please post here.
In the meantime, if the bug is killing you, I would downgrade to 0.97.4.
You should find that rpm in your /usr/src/qtp-upgrade/old-rpms/
directory. If you didn't have that version installed, you can install it
by doing:
# cd /usr/src/qtp-upgrade/SRPMS
# echo "clamav-toaster-0.97.4-1.4.0.src.rpm" > newmodel-manual.txt
# ln -sf newmodel-manual.txt current-newmodel.txt
# rm -f clamav-toaster-0.97.4-1.4.0.src.rpm
# wget
http://mirrors.qmailtoaster.com/archive/SRPMS/clamav-toaster-0.97.4-1.4.0.src.rpm
Then run qtp-newmodel, and clamav-toaster-0.97.4-1.4.0 should be
preselected for you. Just follow through the normal build/install from
there.
Thanks again, Tony.
