You can already find this here: 
http://qooxdoo.org/documentation/user/feature_wishlist. We definitely 
need such a widget for our company projects, too. Maybe we could develop 
it together.

A new bug report for this would be great.

BTW: I think the additional features should be placed in separate 
classes. I would enjoy to first see a really basic wrapper around the 
cross-browser issues. (Even without toolbars, ...)

joomla has an own editor? Or is it based on some of the big ones: 
fckeditor, tinymce, ...?
