Hi, Alex, for the latest qooxdoo (development branch "namespaces") simply follow the steps in http://qooxdoo.org/documentation/user/checkout_from_svn In short: "cd frontend; make" and a refreshing cup of coffee is all you need to get qooxdoo up and running.
Unfortunetly you were pointed to an outdated document on the old website http://old.qooxdoo.org. This is starting to get really anoying. :-( The sooner we can abandon the old site, the better. As a prerequiste the old articles have to be moved over to the new site, no matter if they are still up-to-date or not. It doesn't take much time, and they have to be reworked anyway. Anyone out there, particularly all the people involved in the excellent documentation effort that has just been started, please help to transfer the existing docs to the new site - completely. Once that is done, we'll be happy to kick the old site...
